<p>BRAKING DISC WITH REPLACEABLE LININGS, FOR DISC - BRAKES . . In a brake disc, especially for railway cars, of the kind comprising a hub and two annular braking linings removably applied to said hub, the improvement consisting in that the hub has a large-diameter flange applied thereto, on the side surfaces of which flange, gilled annular linings are applied and means are provided for uniting the annular linings to one another and also means for mutual engagement and drive between the hub flange and the annular linings. A compact but dismemberable unit is thus provided and means for having air streaming in counterflow with the heat transfer path are also provided. The assembly is self-centering.</p> |
