PURPOSE:To perform the stabilization of the surface layer of the photoreceptor by letting the photoreceptor make one turn prior to latent image forming process and applying uniform light radiation to the photoreceptor during its rotation. CONSTITUTION:Electrostatic latent images are formed to a rotatable photoreceptor 1 which has a photoconductive layer and the latent images are processed to form visible images on transfer material 21, after which the latent images are erased. In this case, the photoreceptor 1 is rotated one turn prior to the latent image forming process to apply uniform light radiation to the photoreceptor 1 during its rotation by using a light source FL 1. Thereby, the surface layer of the photoreceptor 1 may be stabilized. |
