PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive material which has the high contrast characteristic of a photographic image and the excellent high dot quality by incorporating a specified compd. in the title material. CONSTITUTION:The compd. shown by formula I is incorporated in the photosensitive material. In formula I, A is a heterocyclic ring residual group having at least one of sulfur or oxygen atom, R is formyl, acyl, sulfonyl, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl, alkoxycarbonyl or thioacyl group, etc. The compd. shown by formula I comprises a compd. which is substd. at least one of hydrogen atom contd. in the group -NHNH- shown by the formula with a substituting group. Thus, the photosensitive material having high contrast photographic characteristic and also having its pin-like fog generating in a dot image suppressed, is obtained. |
