PURPOSE:To prevent generation of deterioration of a recording medium by covering the surface of the information recording medium freely attachably and detachably by a transparent medium deterioration preventive member which shuts off IR rays or/and UV rays. CONSTITUTION:An optical card is formed by covering the recording medium surface 1a provided on a card-shaped recording carrier 1 by the transparent medium deterioration preventive member 2 which is smaller in all of the long sides and short sides of the card-shaped recording carrier 1. Namely, the medium deterioration preventive member of the size smaller by one size from the outside shape of the recording carrier 1 is stuck to the recording medium surface 1a side of the recording carrier 1 and, therefore, the deterioration of the recording medium is prevented by the medium deterioration preventive member even if a user of the optical card exposes the optical card to the external light which induces the deterioration of the recording medium. |
