<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate air voids or burrs by inserting porous materials into a mold along with foaming plastic material and by causing the residual gas such as surplus one generated during a foaming operation to be absorbed into the porous materials. CONSTITUTION:Foaming plastic material 2 is poured into the lower mold 1, a plate-like or a rod-like porous material 3 is placed on the plastic material, and closed by the upper mold 4 to make a foamed product. As the porous material, a soft fabric plate, silica calucium plate or woody material of low specific weight of foaming synthetic resin body having continuous bubbles etc. may be used. The formed product is light in weight and superior to in its characteristic in size stability.</p> |
