<p>Panels faced with layers of resin-impregnated glass cloth laminates incorporate an internal layer of metallic foil to which the laminates are anchored by an intermediate layer of non-woven mat impregnated with a mutually adhesive resin. Used esp. for mfr. of panels with dense, reinforced polyester resin surfaces and an internal moisture barrier made of aluminium foil flanked by layers of relatively low density material for enhanced thermal insulation, e.g. for cladding or lining temp. controlled chambers, tunnels, containers, etc.</p> |
