PURPOSE:To obviate the inadvertent erasing or image forming conditions after detection of trouble by providing the plural kay input means for setting image forming conditions and a diagnosis means for detecting the abnormality of the image forming process means. CONSTITUTION:A copying sheet number set key 22, cassette select key 26, deck select key 27, density select key 28, variable power key 30 and stop key 29 are provided in order to set image forming conditons. When paper clogging occurs in the apparatus, the place it occured is displayed by a jam position display device 40. When developer deficiency is detected, a display device 48 for developser replenishment instruction goes on. When the abormality requiring communication to servicemen occurs, a display device 43 is displayed. All display devices perform abnormality display by making diverted use of segment display devices and when plural abnormalities occur, displaying to this effect is accomplished alternately by said display devices and therefore various displays and warnings may be accomplished with less number of display devices. |
