PURPOSE:To secure the previous detection for the fault even under the on-line operation by carrying out the diagnosis program at the time when no fault occurs to the information processor controlled by the microprogram and no start signal arrives from the higher-rank unit. CONSTITUTION:In case the state continues for the fixed time under which no fault occurs to the information processor controlled by the microprogram and no start signal arrives from the higher-rank unit, the main program generates the time- share signals to turn the time-share mode signal into logic 1. Thus the processor operates in the time-share mode to carry out the diagnosis program and the idle loop routine of the main program in the fixed ratio. When the start signal arrives from the higher-rank unit, the processor detects the signal via the idle loop routine and then generates the diagnosis discontinuation indication signal to carry out the diagnosis dicontinuation process routine. Thus the time-share mode is released, and the processor operates in the single execution mode. |
