PURPOSE:To secure the error display through execution of the dummy IPL program in case the memory medium excepting the head one is set mistakenly when IPL is given to the program information written over plural number of memory media. CONSTITUTION:In case the memory medium excepting the head one is set under the reading process enable state mistakenly by the operator's mistake, the dummy IPL program on the memory medium set by the IPL starting program which is read out of read-only memory ROM is read out onto the memory. And the IPL process is ready via the dummy IPL program read onto the corresponding memory. However, the dummy IPL program features the error display function, and thus no IPL process is given but the error display given. With this error display, the operator can recognize the mistake. |
