PURPOSE:To make the display part simpler by providing entry means for setting image forming conditions and check means for image formation and releasing the operation of the check means by the entry means. CONSTITUTION:Keys 22 are used for setting of copying sheet number and the displaying of the copied sheet number is accomplished by a display device 23-1. When F is displayed in the segment displays of the display device 23-1, it means the diagnosis program now under execution. Since abnormality display is accomplished by making diverted use of the display devices which makes the specific display in this way, the apparatus control part may be made simpler. When, for example, 5, of the keys 22 is set, the diagnosis program 5 operates to check the abnormality of the generator for clock pulses and displays an error mode. Since it is also possible to command the end of the diagnosis routine by the entry keys, less number of LEDs are required and the cost reduction and simplification of the display part may be accomplished. |
