The angle segment transducer has a Hall generator and is used for shaft rotation angle measurement. The transducer disc ensures strong magnetic flux variations and correspondingly large Hall generator electrical output values. It has a rotor connected to the shaft and a fixed Hall generator mounted in a U-shaped iron core with a permanent magnet. The iron core (1) has at least one pole face (9) facing one of several sections of rings concentric to the rotation axis (12) on the face of the disc rotor. The magnetic flux between the pole faces and ring zones in directions parallel to the rotation axis is determined by the air gaps which are small over the rotation angle corresp. to the angle segment and larger over the remaining regions.
