An inductive angle segment transducer for shaft, esp. combustion engine crank shaft, revolution rate or angular position measurement contains a disc (2) coupled to the shaft contg. several radially in series segments and a fixed magnetic circuit close to the discs and contg. an induction coil with iron core and a permanent magnet. The segment boundaries are easily evaluated and identified without the need of the expensive circuits hitherto required. An E-shaped coil core is used consisting of two magnetically isolated core E-pieces (11, 12) placed one after the other in the segment rotation direction. The segment width is made sufficiently large that as a segment passes the coil at least two of the faces (14, 15, 17-20) of different core pieces are magnetically coupled by it.
