<p>In equipment to draw off and spin yarn, using two counter-rotating rollers, forces on the two rollers are directed towards common axis running through gap between them. Design reduces effects of any centrifugal forces generated in operation. There is a compensating mass for each roller, exerting a force on them round their common axis to cancell out any centrifugal force at each roller, each roller being mounted to a frame with limited movement which also carries the compensating mass. A supporting roller for each roller is located on a common axial plane, each acting with its compensating mass, so that the mass and supporting roller cancels out any centrifugal force on the roller in operation.</p> |
