PURPOSE:To prolong life and achieve the reduction of production time by providing such a fixing roller impregnated with heat-resistant silicone oil as the one which hardly causes viscosity change owing to hysteresis of heat. CONSTITUTION:Heat-resistant silicone oil is used as silicone oil used for swelling of a silocone rubber layer. If such a heat-resistant silicone oil which hardly causes viscosity change even by heating is used as impregnating oil in this way, the fixing roller is swollen faster and therefore the reduction of production time is achieved and since the swelling is even and the change in diameter under high temperature is small, the one of a long life is obtained. |
