The equipment continuously coats the inside of a hose, which is partly filled with a predetermined quantity of coating liquid, to which further coating liquid is continuously added to compensate for that used during the operation. The hose is passed between a profiled conveyor belt with guide rollers and a profiled roller (7). The latter is cylindrical with a series of undulating protrusions (9) of the same geometrical shape evenly spaced round the periphery, and parallel to its axis. These protrusions are of the same shape and dimensions as those (13) on the belt (12), whose guide roller axes (17) are parallel to that (16) of the profiled roller. Part of the belt runs against the underside of the latter. The long axis of the hose (4) is in a single vertical plane, the hose being passed downwards round the underside of the roller so as to form a loop. Pressure is exerted on it by the protrusions.
