ADJUSTABLE TUBE SHADE ROLLER

A window shade roller including a main body, a motor shaft received within one end of the main body, and a tip shaft received within the other end of the main body. The motor shaft is drivingly coupled to the main body so that the motor shaft can rotate the main body. However, this driving connection does not prevent adjustment in the axial position of the motor shaft within the main body nor does it prevent complete withdrawal of the motor shaft from the main body. The axial position of the tip shaft within the main body is also adjustable so that the overall length of the window shade roller can be adjusted. An insert within the main body limits the amount to which the tip shaft can be inserted within the main body.
