PURPOSE:To effectively operate a uniform chanfering work of the gear like gear of big diameter or rack, and make the promotion of automatization of the work, by a constitution with the isolation made between rotary shaft center of grindstone and profiling rocking center. CONSTITUTION:In a head 10 of the gear chamfering device,is vertically provided a strut 11 by an installation substance 12. An electric motor is contained in a grindstone holder 40, and the axial line of a grindstone shaft 46, that firmly mounts and holds a rotary grindstone 45, is constituted in perpendicular to a rocking center line 0. In such construction, the grindstone 45 is made a rocking motion up-downward around the center line 0 together with the grindstone holder 40. The grindstone axial line is arranged apart from the center line 0 by a distance of l. The grindstone 45 and the holder 40 are arranged in such manner with its grindstone side made heavier with respect to the center line 0, so that a profiling work may be operated along a gear shape of the ground gear by the own weight when performed a grinding work. In this way, a uniform chamfering work of big diameter gear or racks can be effectively made, and the promotion of automatization of the work can be made. |
