PURPOSE:To improve the flexibility eliminating irregular expansion of bubbles or the like even if covered with a hot tube or tape by winding a cylindrical body with a strip and covering thereof with a synthetic resin coat, after being formed into a cylinder body by a synthetic resin foaming material. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin foaming sheet 1 proceeds in the axial direction (the direction of the arrow) and forms a cylindrical body 3 to match the joint 2 positioned in the axial direction. While a cylindrical body 3 is formed, the sheet 1 further proceeds to the center of a strip winding device 4 to wind a strip 5 on the outside thereof and then, passes through a head 6 of an extruder to be coated with a synthetic resin tube 7 which is then cooled with a cooler 8 to form a coat. Though the temperature is very high in the head of the extruder, the strip wound on the outside of the foaming material checks irregular expansion of the bubble. The insulated pipe is formed like a regular bellows on the surface thereof, thereby its flexibility is enhanced. |
