PURPOSE:To improve electric discharging performance making wetness and liquid retentivity by electrolyte favorable by using a three-layered separator overlapped non woven fabric of natural fiber on both sides of non woven fabric of synthetic fiber. CONSTITUTION:Positive polar compound agent 2 which contains manganese dioxide or nickel oxide is housed in a metal can 1, whereupon a separator 5 is interposed, negative pole live material 9 in gel which has mainly zinc filled in a negative pole vessel 10. Insulating packing 6 sectionally in L-letter shape is interposed, a flat type alkali battery is formed by sealing in sinuosity at the opening port 11 of the metal can 1. As a separator 5 for this battery, non woven fabric 3 of synthetic fiver, for example, vinylon non woven fabric, etc. is arranged, on whose both sides non woven fabric 4 of natural fiber, for example that is made to be three-layered overlapping viscose rayon non woven fabric is used. |
