PURPOSE:To record multicolor print at high speed by a multicolor liquid jet device by providing a plurality of liquid supply units, a plurality of heat application portions, a plurality of heat energy generating means and a plurality of exhaust orifices in a non-impact recorder and a controller therein. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a plurality of liquid supply units 6A, 6B, 6C, a plurality of heat application portions 7A, 7B, 7C, communicating with the respective liquid supply units, a plurality of heat energy generating means 8A, 8B, 8C, and a plurality of exhaust orifices 9A, 9B, 9C, etc. communicating with the heat application portions, respectively corresponding to more than two different color liquids A, B, C in a non-impact recorder for exhausting the liquids by the operation of the heat energy to thereby fly the liquid droplets. There is also provided a controller 10 for selectively driving the energy generating means 8A, 8B, 8C in accordance with the multicolor information as input slgnals in the recorder. Thus, the respective energy generating means are driven to thereby alter the states of the liquids such as volumetric expansion or the like to thus exhaust them from the exhaust orifices so as to record multicolor prints. |
