PURPOSE:To reduce the dispersion of battery plate thickness and the amount of active substance by arranging filling amount adjusting plates capable of adjusting interval on the contact surfaces, with the base plate, of the upper and the lower filling machines, and allowing active substance to be filled uniformly over the whole surface of the base plate. CONSTITUTION:On each contact surface, with a base plate 2, of the active substance upper filling machine 3 which fills 90% of the filling amount of the active substance 4 to be filled in the bas plate 2 and of the active substance lower filling machine 5 which fills active substance 4 uniformly in the part where active substance is not filled up to the lower part of the base plate 2 and at the corner surface of the base plate 2, a filling amount adjusting plate 6 capable of adjusting interval is arranged. The filling amount controlling plate 6 is linked with, for example, a filling amount measuring part 10 and an autochecker 11, and the gap is varied by hydraulic-cylinder so that the filling amount of active substance is kept constant. On the autochecker 11, a proper filling amount is set beforehand, and when improper filling amount is measured, signal is sent to the filling amount controlling plate 6, and then the filling amount is adjusted. |
