摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make possible reduction of the fatigue of an image carrier and at the same time, extend the interval of maintenance replacement timing significantly by changing the output time of a line synchronization signal freely within the range of a single line interval based on the count value of a counting means and performing a specified image formation action for the succeeding image pattern formation using a delayed line synchronization signal as a reference. CONSTITUTION:A rotating speed detection means 5 which detects the rotational speed of a photosensitive drum 1 is provided and the shift to a normal rotation of the photosensitive drum 1 on the side of a control circuit 3 based on a signal from a detection means 5 is determined. In the meantime, under this constitution, a dark line is drawn at a place corresponding to a reference position 6 on the peripheral surface of the shaft edge of the photosensitive drum 1, and at the same time, a detection means 7 which detects the dark line 6 is arranged on the peripheral surface of the shaft edge of a detection means 7 to detect the dark line 6. The detection means 7 detects the dark line 6 each time the photosensitive drum 1 rotates once, and an output signal of the detection means is received by the side of the control circuit 3. Consequently, a line synchronization signal to be output from the side of a data control part 4, or a time interval between the output of the line synchronization signal and the output of an actual image pattern can be appropriately changed while the operation is performed based on a synchronization signal.</p>
