The inner layer (8) of the hose section is of an elastic material for tight closure of the hose in the peristaltically activated condition. The outer layer (9) of the hose section is of less elastic material for absorption of the radial outwardly directed pressure on the inner layer. The inner layer maintains a continuous curvature radius in the interior of the outer layer in the peristaltically activated state.
