PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a superior quality cushioning body with favorable productivity and high yield by a method wherein an insert frame having two pipes with one end closed for inserting stays is used. CONSTITUTION:An insert frame 31, to which two pipe parts 36a and 36b with one end closed are fixed in parallel at the predetermined distance apart each other, is prepared. Next, the insert frame 31 is set in the molding chamber 12 of the mold main body 11 of a molding die. At this time, pipe parts 35a and 35b, each of which is, for example, one of the constitutional members of one of two pipes with one end closed for inserting stays, are fitted to tubular projected parts 17a and 17b. In succession, after the mold mating surface of the frame-like part 20 of a lid 18 is abutted against the mold mating part 14 of the mold main body 11 by closing the lid 18, urethane foaming stock liquid is poured from an inlet. By blocking the inlet, foaming is done in the molding chamber 12 of the main body 11 and in the frame-like part 20 of the lid 18. Finally, by opening the lid 18, the main part 39 of a cushioning body for backresting is obtained. |
