<p>The hand operated recoil sprung punch is utilised when playing a Lotto type game, serving in the obliteration of called numbers from a prediction card. A base plate (60) of uniform rectangular section has a terminal forked upstand (62) locating an axle pin (54). One end of a movable lever arm (64) is secured by the pin, with an interposing blade spring (56) maintaining the arm (64) and the base (60) at a set repose angle. A base integral upstand (68) constitutes the punch, and is located opposite a matching window (74) in the arm. The window also serves in the identification of the number being cut out, and a second window (76) may be provided to assist in card alignment. The interval (l') between windows may be a multiple of the side of numbered card squares, and the distance (l') from the spring to the window (74) may equal that of a square from the edge of the card.</p> |
