<p>The process constructs an ornamental panel giving an impression of relief. A sheet containing a pigment and printed with the pattern is glued to a substratum to form a laminate, whose surface is coated with paint with a matting agent, a photo-stabiliser and a peroxyde catalyst. A transparent seal is spread over the laminated surface and rolled to expel air. A transparent non-volatile inert liquid, remaining viscous at normal temperatures is applied to the skin, after which a mask is sealed onto the liquid, being transparent where in line with the pattern and opaque elsewhere, and gently pressed by rubber roller to expel air bubbles. Light is then projected onto the mask to give photo-hardening of the illuminated portions of the pattern, while those not illuminated are to some extent hardened by the catalyst.</p> |
