<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a harmful-gas-removing apparatus so as to reduce cost, by previous addn. of chemicals, which neutralize and solidify the harmful gas generated in incineration, to a highly hydrated material, then by incinerating the mixt. CONSTITUTION:Combustion gas 5 discharged from a combustion furnace 13 and a highly hydrated material 4 are charged to a stirring and drying machine 8, and the dried material 11 is delivered through a dust collector 9 to the combustion furnace 13, to form an exhaust gas and ash. The ash is discarded as incineration ash 14, and the harmful gas contained in the exhaust gas 7 is removed by a removal apparatus 16. At that time, quick lime or slaked lime is previously added to the hydrated material 4, or charged separately to the drier 8. As a result, the harmful components such as SO2, HCl etc. generated by the combustion of sulfur or chlorine contained in the dried material 11 is neutralized and solidified. Hence harmful-gas-treating apparatus 16 of large capacity is made useless, and inexpensive quick lime etc. is used in place of expensive neutralizing chemicals such as NaOH etc.</p> |
