<p>The shoe which is for blocking vehicles when loaded on to railway wagons or lorries. There is a box part (1) from which project two jaws (2, 3). These move relatively, controlled by a lever (4). At the end of the box is a sloping plate (5), controlled by a lever (6). At the other box end is a handgrip (7) for carrying. There is a second plate (7) fixed to the end of two parallel levers (8) with their lower ends pivoted (9) to rotate in holes (10) in a seating (11) fixed to the first plate (5). The levers are also pivoted on an axis (12) at their ends.</p> |
