Fluid concrete is pumped into a mould, which is pref. vibrated while being filled. Pref. moulding plant has a horizontal axis, and consists of concentric outer and inner mould walls joined together by end rings. One or both end rings are fitted with an injector hood through which concrete is driven by a pump. Mould assembly pref. rests on two vibrating hydraulic jacks, which provides the required amt. of vibration without creating a large amt. of undesirable noise. Overall result is the mfr. of homogeneous mouldings with a redn. in moulding times.
