<p>The cover strap (248) has stay clip, (222) hinged to it by fulcrum (262) continuing in a conventional stay arm hinged to the fixed frame of the window. On the underside of the cover strap (248) an operating assembly (246) is fitted slidably being in connection with an operating handle of the leaf. The operating assembly (246) has an elongated hole (266) penetrated by an extension (263) of the fulcrum (262) carrying support lever (268) mounted in a tipping manner. One arm (269) of the support lever (268) has a leaf spring (276) fitted by rivet (278). The other arm (271) of the support lever is in operating connection with pin (273) penetrating bore (275) of the cover strip (248). On the inside surface of the cover strip (248) the arm (279) of the stay clip (222) is provided with a cam (281). When the stay clip (222) swings the cam (281) depresses the protruding part of the pin (273) which in turn deviates arm (271) and lug (274) on the arm (269) of the support lever (268) is brought into engagement within the elongated hole (269).</p> |
