PURPOSE:To improve liquid leakage resistance by mainly using the epoxy resin and polyamide hardener which are compounded at a specified proportion as the sealant of a sealing section. CONSTITUTION:The positive electrode mixture 1 is housed in the postive electrode can 4. The separator 3 containing electlyte is put on it and the negative electrode mixture 2 which is filled in the negative electrode can 5 is set up. The packing 6 consisting of nylon and such is inserted between both cans 4 and 5 and enclosed to form a battery. The sealant layer 7 using the main mixture whose compound proportion of epoxy resin and polyamide hardener is 1-2 or more in equivalent ratio is coated on the surface of this packing 6. This makes the sealant layer 7 alkali-resistant and adhesive and improves its liquid leakage resistance. |
