<p>The trough-shaped refuse hopper is closed at the bottom by a conveyor belt, and has a loading hatch and a discharge opening in one end wall. The driven belt is formed by a series of plates with additional driving dogs and at the discharge opening the end wall is of round cylindrical section. There can be a hinging pendulum flap at the end opposite to this opening, the direction of movement of the conveyor belt being reversible depending on the flap position.</p> |
