<p>Adjacent hinge-fitted rail joints are brought together via a blocking tongue and a hanger in the form of a closed eye-loop, in the system for hanging a single-rail track used in underground mining or tunnel engineering. An angle plate (15) is fitted between eye-loop (14) and suspension chain (11, 12). This has attachments (16, 17) for several chains, and is fork-shaped in the loop area. The prongs (18, 19) grip the loop's and have holes corresponding to the loop opening. This permits multi-point suspension, as required, with forces emanating from the rail simultaneously transferred to different chains.</p> |
