Liquid degassing column - with inclined run=off plates including groups of two and three in parallel

A column for the degassing of viscous liqs if fitted with rectangular plane run-off plates with a varying gradient. These plates are arranged in groups of parallel trays, with groups contg two or three run-off plates alternating with single plates. The subdivision into parallel side streams ensures that the column has a high capacity even for small thicknesses of the liquid layer, without any excessive increase in the overall height of the column.
