PURPOSE:To prevent a transaction error from occurring by simultaneously displaying the accumulative arithmetic result of data inputted in sequence and the accumulative arithmetic result showing a subtotal corresponding to itemized data. CONSTITUTION:An input from data key 11-1 and function key 11-2 is stored in buffer memory 36 by way of main task part 32. The contents of buffer memory 36 are displayed by display part 13 and items updated all the time are stored in counter memory 34 via counter arithmetic part 33. Every time data requiring counter arithmetic is inputted, corresponding data is added or subtracted by counter arithmetic part 33 to update the contents of counter memory 34. With an end key depressed, the difference amount between the contents of the counter memory and itemized data is calculated and if the difference is zero, the contents of memory 34 are transmitted to a center while error display is provided when the difference is not zero. |
