Outside wall drainage system on buildings - consists of waterproof mineral fibre layer applied to basement wall

The water is drained away from the outside walls of buildings. The system uses a water-proof, impregnated layer, which is applied to at least the outer basement walls. The layer consists of mineral fibres, and on the side away from the basement wall the layer carries a water-pervious protective surface layer. The mineral fibres are vertically aligned, and the fibre layer carries a protective layer against mechanical damage, consisting of wire mesh. A drainage pipe is located on the lower edge of the mineral layer. The mineral layer may extend upwards as a heat-insulation layer with front fluid-permeable shuttering.
