<p>Form-locking connection is provided, with beams lying in a common plane and mutually clamped in position, in stabilisation of beams in high-rise buildings. A hole is made through the centre of the cross-section of the beams, for insertion of a rod. This incorporates elements aligned radially outwards, to engage the beams with locally markedly different forces, and at one end it is fastened to a point fixed in relation to the beams. Holes may become narrower from one beam to the next. This provides effective anchorage.</p> |
