PURPOSE:To air-condition a compartment by a system wherein the circulating direction of a thermal medium is changed over by using a change-over means in a piping of an air conditioning cycle. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1, the first heat exchanger 2, a liquid tank 4, an expansion valve 7 and the second heat exchanger 3 are connected by means of a piping 5, and a change-over means 6 are mounted to the piping 5. At cooling operation, a thermal medium is let flow so that it be condensed at the first heat exchanger 2 and evaporated at the second heat exchanger 3. A mode lever selects heating mode or cooling mode, the compressor 1 and the change-over means 6 are worked when a temperature lever is located at an end portion at the maximum heating, a flow path of the thermal medium is changed over, and the thermal medium is vaporized at the first heat exchanger 2 and condensed at the second heat exchanger 3, thus performing heating operation. |
