PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic of response and to prevent a dot elimination by a method wherein a ring-shaped permanent magnet for preventing a rebound of armature is arranged at a rear part of the armature. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is flowed in the winding 1, the armature 2 is retracted, the wire dot 4 is pushed toward a printing paper 6 by an energy generated when the armature is rotated about one fulcrum point, and a character is printed by the dot. Upon completion of the printing, the head 4 and the armature 2 are returned to their original positions by the return springs 7 and 8 to operate the ring-shaped permanent magnet 11 so as to prevent a rebound of the armature 2 when they are struck against the damper 9. When a next retraction signal is applied to the winding 1, a printing may be performed without elimination of dots due to the fact that the armature 2 is set at its original position. |
