<p>IN THE CANADIAN PATENT OFFICE By: John Lazar Frank Shea For: Aerosol Dispenser An improved aerosol dispenser which includes a flammable propellant vapor phase and a liquid phase containing liquid flammable propellant and ingredient to be dispensed wherein the aerosol container contains means for controlling the relative proportions of vapor and liquid phase dispensed therefrom, whereby the ratio of gas propellant to liquid propellant in the dispensed spray provides a non-flammable spray. The relative proportions are controlled by increasing the size of the vapor tap orifice with respect to the liquid phase orifice whereby the ratio of the diameter of the vapor phase orifice to the diameter of the liquid phase orifice is at least 0.6:1.</p> |
