PURPOSE:To prevent damaging of the dehydrator, the stagnation of screen residues between rollers and chute, etc. by detecting the entry of lump material, opening the lower roller and discharging the lump material in the downflow direction at the primary dehydration. CONSTITUTION:When screen residues are supplied onto a chute 6, the chute 6 is pressed to the upper roller 1 surface by a cylinder 8 to perform primary dehydration. Thence, they are supplied between the upper and lower rollers 1, 2 to perform desired dehydration. If at this time the lump material has entered the screen residues, this is detected and the lower roller 2 is opened to lighten the pressing of the cylinder 8 and allow the lump material to move to the downflow side, thereby letting the same drop from between the opened upper and lower rollers 1, 2. |
