1490142 Inflatable tents V REITZ & CO 24 Jan 1975 [30 Jan 1974] 3303/75 Heading E1A In an inflatable tent composed of strips of flexible web material such as glass-fibre reinforced plastics which are glued, sewn or welded to-gether and comprise interconnected inner and outer layers 1, 2, the width of one strip is slightly greater than that of the other and the inner layer is provided with at least one aperture 3 with a tubular sleeve 4 so that air may be introduced between the layers to hold them apart and maintain the air-pressure therein the same as that within the tent. The walls of the tent are secured to rods 5 which are anchored by means 7 in foundations 7. The aperture or apertures 3 in the inner layer may be covered by wire netting and several small apertures may be distributed over the inner layer to reduce sound reflections. |
