<p>PURPOSE:To improve the dimensional accuracy of the rolled product, by approximately calculating the relation between the rolling reduction and the roll deflection in the rolling mill according to the first order function using the command value given from the rolling reduction command unit, with the roll deflection correcter, in order to obtain the estimated value of the roll deflection, and by adding this estimated value to the command value for inputting the addition sum to the screw down device. CONSTITUTION:The rolling reduction set value 13 is inputted to the rolling reduction command unit 1, which then gives the aim rolling reduction, corresponding to the movement of the worked material M, being measured by the movement measuring device 12, to the rolling mill 2 as the command. The roll deflection correcter 3 is installed between the unit 1 and the screw down device 20; and the command signal from the unit 1 is divided and is inputted to the section discriminator 4. Next, the voltage, showing the roll deflection in the corresponding section obtained by the correction factor setters 5a-5c corresponding to the section discriminated by the section discriminator 4, is added to the voltage, showing the roll deflection obtained by passing the maximum voltage value being held in the discriminator 4 through respective setters 5a-5c, by the adder 6 which then operates the total deflection at the moment and inputs it to the adder 7. The adder 7 adds this total deflection to the command value given by the unit 1, and operates the final rolling reduction command value.</p> |
