PURPOSE:To discharge efficiently clad deposited on matrix by providing an rapidly operable valve on the matrix inflow inside of an electromagnetic filter and utilizing energy which high temperature or high pressure water possesses. CONSTITUTION:During the filtering operation of title electromagnetic filter, an inflow valve 5 and an outflow valve 6 are opened, a flash valve 7 and a by-pass valve 8 are closed, and an electromagnetic coil 4 in canister 1 is switched on. During washing, the valve 8 is opened, the valve 6 is closed, and the coil 4 is switched off. As a result, high temperature and high pressure water is by-passed 14 and the high temperature and high pressure water as such is retained within the canister 1. Then the valve 7 is rapidly opened. As the pressure is rapidly reduced, part of the high temperature and high pressure water is evaporated, with volume thereof is expanded, and water present on the upper part of a matrix 2 flows down through the matrix 2. Thus, clad deposited on the matrix 2 can be discharged efficiently. |
