The container (1) has three stacking spaces (3, 4, 5) which are separated from one another by beads (8, 9) projecting inwards on both sides from the side walls (6, 7). Thirteen slide mounts can be accommodated in each stacking space (3, 4, 5). The container (1) can be closed by a lid (10). The container (1) and the lid (10) are composed of a thermoformed plastic sheet. The container (1) has a height of less than 20 mm, and, as a result, the complete article has a shape which is favourable for sending by post. Despite being light in weight, the container (1) is of robust design. <IMAGE>
