<p>The demodulator has two synchronous demodulators, each with a chrominance signal input, a subcarrier input and an output. The colour signal applied to the synchronous demodulators is never a repetition of the signal applied to the same demodulator during the preceding line and stored. Switching circuits apply two subcarriers to the two demodulators subcarrier inputs. The phase of the first subcarrier corresponds during each scanned line to the bisectrix of the angle between the modulation axes. Signal amplitudes are measured for chrominances for six colours, yellow, cyan, green, magenta, red and blue.</p> |
