PURPOSE:To cause a plurality of induction motors to produce a rated torque of equal magnitude, by providing (n-1) of n group-run induction motors with an energization circuits to change the magnitude and phase of the magnetic flux of the (n-1) motors. CONSTITUTION:The stator core of an induction motor 1 is fitted with a winding 6, which is energized by a separately provided converter 7 to change the magnitude and phase of the magnetic flux of the motor 1 by the current of the winding 6. If a stator winding 8 and the winding 6 are coiled in the same manner and the distributions of their magnetomotive forces based on an equal current are the same and the magnitude of a three-phase alternating current supplied from the converter is equal to a half of that of another three-phase alternating current supplied to the stator winding 8 and the former current has a lag of 30 deg. to the latter, the magnetic flux phi6 produced by the winding 6 has a magnitude equal to a half of that of the magnetic flux phi8 produced by the stator winding 8 and has a phase delayed by 30 deg. to that of the latter magnetic flux. |
