<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for comparison between the sampling function value and the reference value by fixing the result of comparison until the change of the result of comparison between the extreme value and the reference value and deciding the level of the extreme value to the reference value only in the comparison between the extreme values set before and after the change of said result of comparison. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 30 stores each value, the extreme value including an end point and the results of comparison of these values. A register 34 holds temporarily data. A comparison means 33 compares the contents of the register 34 with the read data on the means 30 for detection of the comparison between the extreme values contiguous to each other, the change of comparison result between the extreme value and the reference value, and the change of comparison result between each value and the reference value. The access control means 31 and 32 control the reading/ writing actions of the means 30 based on the comparison result of the means 33. The result of the comparison between each value and the reference value is kept fixed until the first change of the comparison result between the extreme result and the reference value. Then the level of each value is decided to the reference value only in the comparison between the extreme values set before and after the change of said result of comparison.</p> |
