PURPOSE:To perform the discrimination of character through the correct discrimination of the mask line only on original, by controlling eacn level of a plurality of bit outputs specified from the mask read-in line sensor used for manual original read-in system and, taking agreement of the result of discrimination. CONSTITUTION:The mask is placed on original and illumination is made with two color light source, and the original and mask are separately read in with the line sensors for original and mask read-in. As the mask read-in sensor, the sensor independently picking up each bit output is used and the clock from the clock generator 9 is fed. Further, each bit output of the sensor 6 is picked up and unnecessary signal is cut with the discrimination negative voltage from the power supply 10, the output is converted into logic level with the voltage comparators 111-114, the output of the comparators is fed to the NAND circuit 13 by inverting it with the inverters 121-124, each level of each bit output is discriminated, the line of the mask is correctly read in and the discrimination of character is made. |
