PURPOSE:To prevent stored data from being rewritten in error due to an error connection by temporarily releasing a connection to a party transmitting-receiving office via a telephone switching network after sending its own office number out, and then by waiting for a call from the party transmitting-receiving office. CONSTITUTION:In case of a wrong connection from a data transmitting-receiving office to one office, office units 1 and 2 wait for a party-office number after responding and reset when the party-office number is not sent, but when it is sent, office units 1 and 2 release a connection to the party office and then select an original office subscriber's telephone number, corresponding to the party office number received, from office subscriber's telephone number memories 108 and 208 to make a connection to the original office via telephone switching network 3, thereby actuating it. The actuated original office, however, is not in a waiting state for the actuation from the office, so that no transmission and reception of data will be done. Therefore, data stored in transmitting-receiving data memories 102 and 202 can be prevented from changing. |
